So as most of you know, my wonderful fiance is absolutely OBSESSED with the university of utah's football team. He has season tickets and refuses to miss any of the home games, (he almost missed his best friend of like 20 years' wedding reception because it was on the same day as a game- even so he kept checking his phone the whole time and always knew what was happening) well i have been lucky enough to be a guest to a few of these football games, and i will admit that i actually do like going to them, but days like today where is snowing and freezing cold- i probably would have passed on attending this game. while ryan was freezing his butt off in the snow- i was wrapped up in a cozy blanket next to a fire watching the game on the computer. but in all honesty, ryan loves the utes football team. which brings me to this funny fact- his whole family is completely obsessed with BYU which just so happens to be Utah's arch enemy rival, and i am no stranger to college rivalries- growing up in NC we had the legendary Duke Vs. UNC rivalry with college basketball. but i have never seen a family so torn apart by college football. the entire week of the game against byu and utah is filled with constant bickering and snide remarks, nothing mean or hurtful to normal people- but with these frandsen men saying that one quarterback is worse than the other is the same as many four letter words. but as far as my involvement goes- im sticking with remaining neutral, i have promised myself many times that i will never be involved in the bickering, gloating, or car decorating :)
oh, by the way. Utah beat UCLA 31 to 6.

We still love other. Go Cougs!!
